I have always seen myself as a “Jack of all trades, master of none.” I am incredibly passionate and pour myself into whatever I am doing. I have always been one to push the boundaries in life and if I am afraid of something I will do it just to prove to myself I can.

I have spent a lifetime traveling, mountain biking, white water kayaking, climbing, camping, and hiking. As a career photographer and designer, I love to adventure and explore, and as I age the reality of my mortality becomes more real every day.

I refuse to let life pass me by and I want my children to know the love of adventure that has taken me around the globe.

“I will never get married and I will never have kids!” Oh, how wrong I was. I wanted to travel the world, climb mountains, surf exotic destinations, and lay in the sun.

Now, I chase children, clean up puke, and dream of the places I thought I would visit. I am supposed to say, “I wouldn’t trade it for the world,” but would I? Ask me next week.

Being an Emergency Room nurse and a mom is hard but worth it. I never knew how much I wanted a family until I had one.

The rare moments when I see a sense of accomplishment on a kid’s face, receive a quick kiss and an “I love you mama,” or one of those giant bear hugs make it all worthwhile.
